Epithalon: Telomere and Cellular-Aging Research Peptide Epithalon—also commonly spelled Epitalon—is a synthetic tetrapeptide composed of four amino acids: Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. It was developed from research involving peptide compounds associated with the pineal gland. Epithalon has attracted scientific interest because of its observed effects on telomerase activity, telomere length, cellular aging, and circadian signaling in experimental models. Researchers study Epithalon for its potential role in: • Telomerase activity and hTERT expression • Telomere-length regulation • Cellular aging and replicative senescence • Cell-cycle and longevity models • Pineal-gland signaling • Melatonin production and circadian rhythms • Oxidative-stress responses • Age-related cellular changes Telomeres are protective structures located at the ends of chromosomes. They generally become shorter as cells divide, eventually contributing to cellular senescence—the stage at which a cell stops dividing. Laboratory studies involving cultured human cells have reported that Epithalon can influence telomerase, the enzyme responsible for maintaining and extending telomeres. More recent cell-culture research has also examined its relationship with hTERT expression and alternative telomere-lengthening pathways. Animal and limited human research has additionally explored Epithalon’s relationship with pineal function, nighttime melatonin production, and circadian rhythms. These findings have made it an important subject in aging and longevity research, but they do not demonstrate that Epithalon reverses aging, extends human lifespan, or treats sleep disorders. Important Notice Epithalon is intended strictly for laboratory research and analytical use. It is not approved by the FDA for human consumption, anti-aging treatment, sleep treatment, veterinary use, or diagnostic purposes. Laboratory, animal, and preliminary human findings should not be interpreted as established clinical benefits.
Research & documentation
Separate commercial product information from analytical interpretation. Use the research profile, public COA records and method guides to evaluate what is actually documented for this material.
No verified lot-specific public record is linked to this product yet. We show that absence explicitly rather than substitute demo data.
Search COA LibraryUse the purity value and any batch-specific analytical documentation presented for the product as the primary reference. Where available, HPLC, mass spectrometry and Certificate of Analysis documentation provide additional batch context.
Transcendent Labs compounds are supplied strictly for laboratory research use only. They are not intended for human consumption, diagnosis, treatment or therapeutic use.
Inventory status is shown from the current product record. Availability can change as research batches are added, depleted or temporarily disabled in the catalog.
Researchers should follow the compound-specific storage conditions stated in the applicable product documentation or Certificate of Analysis. Batch documentation takes precedence over general handling guidance.
Research quality framework
When a documented catalog purity value exists, the product record displays it. Missing analytical data remains explicit rather than being replaced with a generic purity claim.
The site includes a batch verification workflow designed to connect research inventory with batch-specific documentation when that information is available.
Product positioning, checkout language and catalog documentation consistently identify Transcendent Labs compounds as laboratory research materials only.
Availability is driven by the current product inventory record, helping the public catalog reflect whether a research compound is presently in stock.
